had band practice with a new band today. played for 5 hours. wrote 2 songs and recorded some quick demos of them. sweet. definitely a good way to kick off the year.

i meant to post this on the first but i was lazy and didn't feel like typing, but...
the first of this year marks me being single for a year. always weird to think about, especially with such a specific date. maybe a girl will come along this year that is worth breaking my singleness for.

other goals for the year:
really get this new band going (shows, real recording, maybe some sweet tees or other merch)
produce some art that is not required for school and get it shown somewhere
record some of my pop punk/emo rock stuff that i've been writing lately
read a bunch of books that have been recommended to me
